To participate in athletics at IRCHS for the 2025-2026 school year, please follow these steps:
STEP 1: Athletic Clearance Account
First, you’ll need to create an account or add new sports for the 2025-2026 school year at AthleticClearance.com. We recommend adding ALL sports you are interested in playing. This will allow for the possibility of being cleared for multiple sports at the same time. Remember that the FHSAA requires a 2.0+ GPA at the end of each semester to be eligible for the next semester.
STEP 2: Athletic Physical
Complete and upload the NEW FHSAA EL2 Athletic Physical Form to your Athletic Clearance account. Make sure all parties — the athlete, parent, and doctor — sign and date the form. Don’t forget to schedule an appointment with your doctor before your current physical expires!
STEP 3: Required Athletic Videos
Register or sign in at nfhslearn.com and complete these four video courses: Concussion, Heat Illness, Sportsmanship Course, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Be sure to select the state of Florida and “order” the courses; they are FREE. Once completed, download or screenshot your completion certificates and upload them to the FILES bubble of your Athletic Clearance account.
STEP 4: Athletic Fee – Pay to Participate
Pay the one-time annual fee of $85 online. This single fee covers ALL sports for the entire 2025-2026 school year. After payment, visit the IRCHS Athletic Department with your current student ID to receive a sticker that grants you FREE entry to home games! (Please note: This excludes home football games.)
STEP 5: IRCHS Transfer & Non-IRCHS Students
IF YOU TRANSFERRED TO IRCHS OR DO NOT ATTEND IRCHS, please print and complete the appropriate documents listed below. These additional forms cannot be uploaded through the Athletic Clearance system. You must bring them directly to the IRCHS Athletic Department.
- FLVS Full Time Students (not registered as Home-Schooled): GA4, NTSP, Transcripts, EL14 (if applicable)
- Home-Schooled Students (registered with SDIRC): GA4, EL7, EL7V, Transcripts, EL14 (if applicable)
- International Students: GA4
STEP 6: Clearance Status
You WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to participate in tryouts and/or the first official day of practice until your Athletic Clearance account status for the specified sport reads “Cleared” or “Practice Only.” Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive this confirmation email. Alternatively, you can log in to Athletic Clearance, click the three lines in the top left corner, select “My Clearances,” scroll down to the desired sport, and scroll over to view the status. Sports that are “in season” will take precedence.
